There is a competition between space for urban green areas or housing in recent years. Optimal use of green space is of great importance. The Municipality of Hillegom has chosen to redesign the Burgemeester van Nispenpark. The new design also includes a water feature, creating a beautiful park boulevard. The Municipality of Hillegom asked Acacia Water to assess the effects of such a water feature on the groundwater near the park.
