CO₂ Performance Ladder

Acacia Water B.V. endorses the importance of sustainable business practices. That is why we are committed to reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. To this end, we use the CO₂ Performance Ladder, which is managed by the Foundation for Climate-Friendly Procurement & Business (SKAO).

With the CO₂ Performance Ladder, organizations strive to limit global warming and climate change as much as possible. SKAO encourages the use of the CO₂ Performance Ladder within both the business community and the (semi-)government.

Policy Energy and CO₂ Acacia Water.

Acacia Water B.V. endorses the importance of sustainable business operations and is committed to reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. As an organisation, we want to actively contribute to the energy transition and the Paris climate goals.

That is why we apply the following energy and CO₂ policy:

• We map out our CO₂ emissions (scope 1 and 2) annually and publish the results via the CO₂ Performance Ladder.
• We set ambitious, but achievable reduction targets and take concrete measures to achieve them.
• We comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the field of energy and emissions.
• We actively involve our employees in achieving energy savings and encourage sustainable behavioural change.
• We communicate transparently about our performance and plans, both internally and externally.
• We actively seek cooperation with chain partners and clients to promote joint CO₂ reduction.

This policy statement applies to the entire organization and is evaluated annually and adjusted if necessary.
